2014 Knights Bridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our classically styled Cabernet unfolds slowly and will age gracefully. Dark, condensed aromas of red plum, black cherry, dusty cocoa, and vanilla abound on the nose. On the palate, berry, cola, raspberry, and fig join in a tight middle core and a persistent finish.
This wine will pair nicely with lamb roasted with herbes de Provence; traditional flank steak with herbed butter or chimichurri; cassoulet; or duck confit.

2014 was the third consecutive year of drought in Knights Valley. However, the lack of rain did not stand in the way of a nearly perfect growing season. We had a mild winter, a dry spring, and no heat-spikes during the season. The long, dry days and cooler-than- normal summer encouraged an abundant crop and an early harvest. These ideal conditions allowed our estate fruit to ripen evenly, offering elegant, dark fruit with a juxtaposition of bright acidity and explosive flavors.
